Three minors wounded in drive-by shooting in southwest Houston

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police say two teenage boys and a young girl were shot in a drive-by shooting Wednesday afternoon in the 5800 block of Renwich in southwest Houston.

Police confirmed the two teenage boys, who are 15 and 16, are documented MS 13 members. They say the girl who is around 11 or 12 was not in the gang. Investigators are waiting to get statements to determine motive for the shooting.

Police say they all sustained non-life threatening injuries and are being treated at area hospitals.

Officers believe there were at least two suspects who pulled up in an unknown vehicle and shot them as they were walking through the parking lot.
