UPDATE: Arrest made in HEB armored car theft; second suspect still at large
SUGAR LAND, Texas - The Sugar Land Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division has arrested a suspect in connection with the armored truck robbery that occurred earlier this month at an HEB store.
The incident took place on December 3, 2024, at approximately 12:10 p.m. at the HEB located on Highway 6 at University Boulevard.
During the robbery, a suspect stole a bag of money from an armored car stationed at the store.

As the suspect attempted to flee, a security guard fired at least two shots at the getaway vehicle, striking it. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
Bradley Richardson has been arrested after turning himself in to authorities. He is facing a charge of felony theft.

Meanwhile, the search continues for a second suspect involved in the theft, who remains at large.
The investigation is ongoing as police work to apprehend the remaining suspect and gather further details about the crime.
