La Marque High School evacuated due to bomb threat
All staff and students have been evacuated safely from La Marque High School after the school received a bomb threat, school officials say.
A notice on the school's website reads, "All threats are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. Administrators are well-trained on district-level emergency management, incident command, and National Incident Management procedures, which go into effect immediately upon notification of a threat."
Parents are asked not to go to the school or pick up their kids from the evacuation site at this time for student safety. School officials will let parents know when it's safe for the students to return to school.
