First Responders Day at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Today is First Responders Day at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.
First responders get into NRG Park today for free with up to four family members.
First responders should bring their badge or ID to get the free admission.
As part of the celebration, Reliant Energy is donating 1,000 smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to first responders. Volunteers will be on site handing them out at the Reliant big boot starting at 3 p.m. while supplies last.
There will also be a recognition of first responders during the Rodeo performance. Rodeo tickets are sold separately.
