Burdine Street shooting: 15-year-old found shot dead outside Christmas party

HOUSTON - The Houston Police Department is investigating the death of a teen found in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Meyerland.

HPD Sergeant Ali reports Houston Fire Department was initially called to an apartment complex in the 9200 block of Burdine Street around 10 p.m. about a person who became sick at a Christmas party.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found a 15-year-old male laying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, Sgt. Ali said.

HPD Homicide Division was called to investigate the scene. They learned the teen was a guest at the Christmas party and was in and out the apartment.
