Terrian Spurs joined the FOX 26 digital team in September 2022, but she was around for a little while before that.
She first became curious about working in digital while interning as an Emma Bowen Foundation Fellow for KTBC FOX 7 Austin during her junior year of college.
While studying, she served as the Social Media Editor at BlackPrint, the university’s only Black interest publication on campus, where she later became the Managing Editor.
After graduating from the Moody College of Communications at The University of Texas at Austin, she returned to her hometown of Missouri City, Texas where she returned as a Fellow for the summer at KRIV FOX 26 Houston.
Terrian also holds a certificate in Business and Public Policy from UT’s McCombs School of Business.
A month after her internship ended, she joined the FOX 26 family as a Digital Content Creator.
When she isn’t working to make content go viral, she loves to dance and is an avid reader.
