Why is there blue, crystal-clear water on the Galveston shore?

GALVESTON, Texas (FOX 26) - No, this isn't video from an island paradise! This crystal-clear, blue water was spotted right here in Galveston, Texas right on Memorial Day. Beachgoer Cameron Holmes visited Galveston Beach on Memorial Day and shared this video to show how amazingly blue the water was over the holiday.
