University officer charged with killing Samuel Dubose out on bail
University of Cincinnati police officer facing murder and voluntary manslaughter charges in the death of Sam DuBose was released from jail on bond. Tensing posted about $100,000 or 10 percent of his $1 million bond. Judge Megan Shanahan read the two charges which drew cheers from members of DuBose's family in court. The outburst prompted a strong rebuke from the judge. He was placed on suicide watch but released on bond.He was not part of the general population. The two other officers who responded to the incident were placed on administrative leave as a result of an internal investigation.
