Teen girl dies in car crash in Cypress

CYPRESS, Texas (FOX 26) - A single car accident left a teenaged girl dead and her friend in critical condition. It happened Saturday night on Queenslake Road in Cypress.

Investigators say it appears the driver ran off the road at a curve. They say she tried to compensate but hit a culvert causing the car to flip. The passenger died at the scene. Investigators do not believe alcohol was a factor.
