What we know:

When deputies arrived, they met a driver who saw a man lying on the side of the road. Officials say the man had been shot, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Blood evidence and video footage from the area led officials to believe the man came from a nearby home. Deputies checked the home, but they didn't find anyone else there.

Investigators determined that the man was involved in a shooting at that home. They are now working to identify anyone who might have been present during the shooting, which is believed to be drug-related.
