Police: Man ran over another man in Texas City after altercation

TEXAS CITY, Texas (FOX 26) - A man has been charged with murder after police say he ran over another man with his truck in Texas City following an earlier altercation between the two men.

Just before midnight on Saturday, Texas City police responded to the 1100 block of Texas Avenue. Officers arrived to find a 57-year-old man had been run over by a truck. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to investigators, 55-year-old Thaddeus Kirk struck the man with his truck after the two men had an earlier altercation.

Kirk was arrested and charged with Murder.
