Fort Bend County Precinct 1 Constable Chad Norvell reposted a Facebook post from a close friend he says had her kangaroo escape.
According to the original post by Marsha Matus on Facebook, the kangaroo named Rowdy the Roo was last seen around 4:15 a.m. behind the truck stop at I-10 and Pyka Road.

Rowdy is likely to be running and hopping around when the sun starts to go down, during the night, and early morning hours, since kangaroos are nocturnal, the owner said. During the day, he might be lying down to rest.
The kangaroo is about five feet tall if he's on his full tail and weighs around 65 to 75 pounds.
