Humble spa worker charged with prostitution, caught in undercover investigation

An undercover investigation conducted by the Mark Herman's Office on Tuesday resulted in the arrest of Shu-Mei Wang, 60, for prostitution at Sophia's Massage.

According to investigators, a constable posed as a customer at 4522 FM 1960 Road and was solicited for sex or offered sex acts by Wang.

Constables discovered Wang was unlicensed to practice massage therapy and charged her with promoting prostitution. 

Officals say  Wang's bond has not been set.

The Mark Herman's Office conducted an undercover investigation at Sophia's Massage and arrested an employee for offering sex acts for money on Tuesday.

During the investigation, a woman on scene stated she was a victim of human trafficking but after a thorough investigation, she admitted she was not trafficked, according to authorities.
