Houston Astros trade pitcher Ryan Pressly to Chicago Cubs

In an official move, the Houston Astros traded right-handed pitcher Ryan Pressly to the Chicago Cubs.

The Astros announced they acquired minor league prospect, right-handed pitcher Juan Bello in exchange for Pressly along with cash considerations.

He was traded to the Astros back in 2018. During his time with the team, he was a two-time All-Star and 2022 World Series Champion.

What's next:

Pressly will head to Chicago where he will play alongside his former Astros teammate, Kyle Tucker, who was also traded to the Cubs back in December.
