Home Repair Help for Low-Income Seniors

HOUSTON (FOX26) - Hundreds of Houston's elderly poor live in the same home they purchased more than a half decade ago.  Now,  that their dream home is falling down around them, these low-income seniors don't have the money to for repairs.    This is a huge problem, one that FOX 26  Reporters Isiah Carey and Emily Akin hear about daily.

Carey and Akin teamed up to showcase the problem and offer some solutions.  Carey profiled several seniors in need while Akin opened up her Take it to Akin hotline.
