Funky-looking glasses promise to cure motion sickness

European car manufacturer Citroën has created a pair of glasses they claim will cure motion sickness.

The “Seetroën” glasses have a very unique design and may not be the most stylish, but the company claims after wearing the glasses for just 10 minutes, any motion sickness you may be feeling will be gone.

The glasses use what the designers call “boarding ring” technology, with liquid-filled rings in the glasses to help ease the queasiness often associated with motion sickness. They say the liquid creates an artificial horizon to re-orient the wearer.

The glasses are being sold for €99 each – which is about $115 – but the first batch is sold out. Citroën says they should be available again in September.
