HOUSTON - Houston police are searching for the vehicle involved in a deadly pedestrian crash in southeast Houston on Monday night.
Sergeant David Rose of the Houston Police Department says a 19-year-old male was found dead on the Northbound Gulf Freeway at 610 around 10 p.m.

According to officials, the 19-year-old was attempting to cross the main lanes with his brother, but as his brother was trying to stop him from crossing he was struck.
Police never received a call or report from the vehicle that hit the victim and the vehicle was never located.

All northbound lanes were diverted off I-610 eastbound as police investigated.
Anyone with information about the vehicle involved in the deadly crash is asked to call HPD Vehicular Crimes Division or CrimeStoppers Houston.
