Tropical Depression 19 intensifies into Tropical Storm Rina

Tropical Storm Rina has formed in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The storm has winds at speeds of 40 mph which is moving north at 7 mph. It poses no threat to land as it moves away from the United States and is not expected to develop into a hurricane.

Before it was named Tropical Storm Rina, the system was the 19th tropical depression of the Atlantic hurricane season.
