Houston weather: Heat wave continuing through the weekend
HOUSTON - Following our 18th straight day of triple-digit heat, we should continue that trend Thursday through the weekend.
An excessive heat warning and a fire weather watch are in effect through 9pm.
With an expected shift in the huge heat dome over Texas, conditions could become more favorable for rain by early next week.
