HOUSTON - Big changes are headed our way over the next 24 hours that will transition us from soupy, foggy weather to a clear and chilly pattern.
After another round of dense fog this morning, a midday cold front will bring a line of showers and possible storms followed by windy and cooler conditions late today.
The next several days look clear and cold overnights with sunny, dry days. There's even a chance for a few frosty spots on Saturday morning, which is coincidentally the first day of winter.
Warmer temperatures are expected by Christmas Day with highs likely in the 70s as showers and muggy air could return late next week.
