As nursing shortage is compounded by pandemic, the University of St. Thomas strives to help meet the need

At a time when nurses are leaving the field, a local university is looking to help meet the needs through an accelerated nursing degree program. A graduate of that nursing program is switching careers to work on the front line of the battle. FOX 26's Maria Salazar has his story.
