The Ike Dike: Where does Houston's coastal protection project stand?

The whole country watched as New Orleans' new levee system was put to the test by Hurricane Ida for the first time since Hurricane Katrina, leading many to wonder why Houston hasn't moved forward with its own proposed plan to protect our coast.
