Houstonians celebrate Kwanzaa

Christmas is over and Kwanzaa has begun. The holiday which was founded in 1966, gives the black community a chance to recognize their heritage and culture. Kwanzaa has 7 principles and each night of the holiday represents a different theme. They are unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity and faith.
