WYP panel weighs in on the rent relief program for Houstonians

Houston city council approves two federally funded rent relief programs totaling $23 million. Some members voiced concern over benefiting bad landlords, others say delaying aid any longer will hurt renters in Houston. On May 13th distressed renters will be asked to make their application by phone or online at HoustonRentAssistance.org.
