FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Look for more areas of dense fog Wednesday morning that could delay the drive in to work. Dense Fog Advisory is in effect from 9 p.m. Tuesday night until 10 a.m. Wednesday for some coastal spots including Galveston Island & the Bolivar Peninsula. Dense Fog Advisory is also in place farther inland that includes Harris County from midnight until 9 a.m. Wednesday. Temperatures Tuesday night will be mild dipping into the middle 60s with partly cloudy skies. We get one more day where we feel like Spring with muggy air & high temperatures in the middle 70s Wednesday afternoon. Our next cold front arrives Wednesday afternoon bringing a broken line of showers and thunderstorms. Severe weather is unlikely, but a few heavy downpours are possible along with some small hail and some lightning. Cold front should clear the area by 7 p.m. Wednesday and it will usher in much cooler and drier air for the rest of the week. It will feel more like December in Houston Thursday through Sunday with afternoon high temperatures in the 60s and overnight lows in the 40s. Sunshine will be abundant for your weekend holiday outdoor plans.
