FOX 26 Houston Weather, Dec. 13
We are speeding through this holiday season and another weekend is upon us. The recent freezing temperatures north of Houston are long gone as southeasterly flow has brought in warmer air. Look for some fog, more clouds and spotty light showers this evening with overnight low temperatures in the 60s. Saturday will feature more clouds than sun along with a 50% chance for showers and isolated thunderstorms. Severe weather is not expected. But watch out for a few brief, heavy downpours and a bit of lightning. Rain chances drop to 20% for Sunday, which means mainly dry weather for Texans tailgating. Keep the umbrellas close because rain chances increase once again on Monday with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures stay several degrees above normal through Monday, with cooler weather gradually pushing back into the Houston area by the middle and end of next week.
