Daniel Penny Found Not Guilty in Subway Chokehold Death 

A marine veteran—who used a chokehold on a New York subway rider and killed him—was acquitted today. Jordan Neely died after Daniel Penny put him in a chokehold for six minutes. Penny claimed he was defending himself and others from Neely's threats. Neely's supporters say the acquittal is rooted in racism.
