Cold Fronts to Bring Major Temperature Drops and Potential Holiday Travel Delays
Get ready for another week with major temperature swings! Two cold fronts will send our temperatures tumbling, especially by Thanksgiving and Black Friday. The first cold front arrives this evening, with little to no rain expected. Temperatures will be about 10 to 15° colder for Tuesday. By Wednesday, we are back into the middle 80s, with a 20% chance for showers. Stronger cold front will likely arrive Thanksgiving morning and will bring a slight chance for showers but a major drop in temperatures. This will mean chilly temperatures for early morning Black Friday shopping in the 30s and 40s. If you are flying for the holidays, there could be some weather issues and travel delays from Washington to California and around the Great Lakes, Ohio Valley and NE.
