Warm days, cool nights | Fox 26 Houston Weather Forecast
While a historically powerful Hurricane Milton creeps closer to Florida's gulf coast, we are going to experience outstanding weather. Expect sunshine and low humidity, warm days and cool nights. We will begin to talk about drought conditions soon because little to no significant rain is on the way over the next couple of weeks. Hurricane Milton strengthened from a tropical depression to a 180 mph category 5 monster in just 48 hours - a record for the entire Atlantic basin. The hurricane is likely to get larger before making landfall in Florida late Wednesday even if the maximum winds decrease a bit. Storm surge, high winds, flooding and even tornadoes are all possible. Locally, enjoy lows in the low 60s and some upper 50s, sunny highs near 90.
