FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast
Rounds of rain will keep rolling across the Houston area through tonight and into Friday. Heaviest rain is expected near the coast with an additional 1-3" possible. A broad area of low pressure along a weak front just off the SE Texas coast has a very low 10% chance for tropical development. Although that is unlikely, it will continue to spread more downpours along parts of the Gulf coast. Flood Watch remains in effect for Brazoria, Chambers and Galveston counties until 7 AM Friday. Cold front Friday evening will put an end to this soggy pattern temporarily bringing drier air and a return to sunshine! Get ready to enjoy less humid air and temperatures in the 60s Sunday and Monday night. Get weather where you live and the latest on the tropics by downloading our app for your big screen, Fox Local!
