After SEVEN days straight of triple digits and 11 days straight of heat alerts across Houston, we've finally gotten rid of all excessive heat warnings and heat advisories. It will still be hot, but not as miserable over the next week. That's because a pattern change will bring more clouds and rain with less heat. Don't expect much rain Saturday if you're going to the Texans preseason game. Rain chances will be highest Monday - Wednesday with temperatures expected to be near or slightly below normal for a change.
