FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast: Heat advisory through Saturday

Heat Advisory remains in place for Houston through 7pm Saturday. Heat index values near 110 are possible which could lead to heat illness if you're not careful. Air Quality Alert for higher ozone levels will be in place until Saturday also. Look for a few more pop up showers and storms, especially Sunday & Monday. But it will not be a washout by any means. Summer sizzle sticks around for the next several days. Potential Tropical Cyclone Four is now over Cuba. It should develop into Tropical Storm Debby by this weekend as it moves into the eastern Gulf. Models are showing a landfall late this weekend, likely around the Big Bend of Florida. This system will bring several inches of rain, flood threat and strong winds to Florida. Houston is not in the path this time so impacts are unlikely.
