FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast: Beryl moves out, heat moving in
Beryl made landfall as a Category one hurricane around 4am near Matagorda. Beryl brought 80+ mph winds to parts of Houston and surrounding areas and 6-15" of rain to parts of the area. Beryl is now racing away moving through the Ark-La-Tex region. Our attention now turns to lots of people still without power and the building heat. A HEAT Advisory is in effect for Houston Tuesday with heat index values near 105 expected. Be extra careful as many still don't have working AC. Rain chances will be low Tuesday but will increase as we go through the week. So make sure your roof is protected if you sustained damage.
