FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast
Welcome to summer! Summer officially began at 3:50 pm. Our first Tropical Storm of the season, Alberto made landfall over Mexico this morning but is no longer a tropical system. Look for coastal flooding to gradually subside and wind speeds to gradually decrease over the next day or so. Spotty downpours will be possible this evening and again Friday PM with a warm and humid airmass still in place. But if you're looking for pool time, Saturday is your day with only a 10% rain chance. There's a medium chance another tropical system might develop in the SW Gulf next week. It should stay to our south but may enhance our rain chances. Right now it looks like things won't get too crazy. But check FOX Local and our FOX 26 weather app for more updates!
