FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast
Scattered showers and storms might bring locally heavy rain, 50-60 mph winds, and hail near 1" this evening and Wednesday PM. Best chance for any severe weather will remain just west of Houston. Rain chances go down as temperatures increase Thursday to Saturday. Tropical moisture from a new disturbance in the eastern Gulf of Mexico will bring a big flood threat to south Florida the next few days. This disturbance will not impact SE Texas. But another big plume of tropical moisture is forecast to surge into the Gulf early next week. There's a chance a weak Gulf low could develop. But whether we get a tropical system or not, our rain chances will likely be going up early next week.
