FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast: Strong storms possible Monday

Flood Watch continues north of Houston until 7 am Monday for Grimes, Montgomery, Liberty, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity & Walker counties. Additional 2-4" of rain is possible with isolated 5"+ totals through Monday. Farther south in Houston, 2-3" of rain is expected through Monday. Avoid any flooded areas and stay alert for severe storms Monday, especially during the afternoon. Rain chances drop off Tuesday & Wednesday but pick up big time Thursday where once again heavy rain and severe storms could cause problems.
