FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Widespread rain totals around 1-4 inches were reported today across SE Texas with totals closer to 4" for Huntsville, Columbus & Brenham. Houston has been in the 1-2" range. The problem is that more disturbances will pull up additional moisture bringing more rounds of heavy rain for Tuesday and Wednesday. We remain in a slight risk for street flooding the next few days along with a low marginal risk for a few strong to severe storms. So stay alert and make sure to download our FOX Local app for your smart tv for extra exclusive content! An additional 1-5" of rain could fall for parts of the area through Thursday so you will want to watch for flooded streets and avoid any that you see. Scattered showers linger Thursday and Friday with rain expected to wind down on Saturday leaving us with a sunny and dry Sunday. So after a soggy & rough week of weather, at least the weekend looks brighter and drier! Temperatures stay on the warmer side for most of the week so enjoy that at least!
