Fox 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Lots of changes are on the way over the next several days with big drops in temperatures and even a couple of warm afternoons to enjoy. Beginning with today, after a cold morning we'll warm up nicely into the upper 60s. Friday looks mild as well with lows in the 50s and highs possibly reaching the upper 70s. Our next cold front moves through the area Thursday night into early Friday and could even bring a brief round of strong thunderstorms. Friday will turn blustery again with north breezes and highs only in the 50s. Marathon weather this weekend does look chilly with a low temperature of about 32 on Saturday morning and about 40 on Sunday morning. This is going to be an MLK day holiday to remember with temperatures plunging into the 30s through the day along with very harsh north winds, and that will be followed by some of the coldest weather that we’ve seen since December 2022.
