FOX 26 Houston Weather Update

Friday is now a FOX 26 Storm Alert Day with the threat for heavy rain and isolated strong storms. A few showers are possible tonight and Thursday with widespread rain expected Friday evening and Friday night. A few storms may produce some gusty winds and small hail Friday. But the overall severe threat Friday is low at this time. Heavy rain will stick around through early Saturday before moving off to the east. We will dry things out as we go through Saturday with high temperatures only in the 50s. But temperatures start to heat back up for the week leading up to Christmas with more sunshine likely Sunday, Monday & Tuesday.
