FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

It has been another gorgeous December day across SE Texas with Christmas now less than two weeks away! It will be cool again tonight, but not as chilly as last night. We should dip to the upper 40s tonight and rebound to the middle 60s Wednesday afternoon. Thursday should be mostly dry & mild with more clouds. Pattern shifts as our next storm system arrives Friday. Widespread rain is expected to build in Friday afternoon and stick around through early Saturday. 1-2" of rain is possible with a few higher amounts. There will be a small risk for street flooding as we are now in a category 1 of 4 (5%) risk for excessive rain. Rain should push east Saturday afternoon with temperatures getting a little cooler for the weekend.
