FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast
The weather doesn't get much nicer than this! It has been a beautiful, mostly sunny and pleasant day with low humidity. It will be another chilly night with low temperatures dipping to the 40s. There will be a few more clouds around on Thursday but we should remain dry. As moisture increases Friday, look for more clouds and spotty rain showers to return. Saturday appears to be the most active day of the next week with a higher shot for more widespread rain and possibly a round of strong storms. Best chance for storms will be Saturday afternoon ahead of a cold front. A few of those storms could be strong to severe with some brief wind gusts over 50 mph and hail. So keep checking back as we fine-tune the forecast. Behind that front, temperatures will tumble and it will feel more like December although freezing temperatures are not expected. We'll go from middle 70s Friday and Saturday afternoon to highs near 60 Sunday and lows in the upper 30s Sunday night and Monday morning.
