FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Widespread showers from this morning have moved off to the east with only an isolated shower expected through early tonight. Area of low pressure now in the northern Gulf of Mexico is not going to become a tropical system and is moving away from us. That will mean only a low 20% chance for rain Thursday. Look for a warming trend the next few days with near record heat Friday afternoon. That summer-like heat won't last for long though with our next cold front set to dive in Friday evening. That will mean temperatures back down to 70s during the afternoon this weekend and overnight lows in the 50s!
