Tropical Weather Forecast - October 11, 2023
The two tropical cyclones we had in the eastern Pacific, Max and Lidia both have dissipated. But an area of low pressure now in the northern Gulf of Mexico is spreading some heavier showers across central and eastern parts of the Gulf coast. Good news is that tropical cyclone development is no longer expected and most of the rain has shifted east of the Houston area. We do have a new tropical storm in the far east Atlantic named Sean. It is forecast to remain disorganized and weaken to a remnant low early next week. Another tropical wave near the west coast of Africa only has a low chance to become our next tropical depression or storm.
