Biden reforms military justice code

Military crime victims will have more protections thanks to a new executive order. President Biden signed the order which gives independent military attorneys the power to prosecute serious military crimes, including sexual assaults. This means commanders will no longer be in the position to decide when to take assault claims seriously.
