UH team developing lupus home test

Researchers at the University of Houston are creating at-home tests for lupus patients to help monitor their disease. The idea uses a device that plugs into a smartphone and reads results. Dr. Richard Willson shows off the process after being inspired to use glow-in-the-dark nanoparticles to help detect flare-ups and alert lupus patients to seek treatment.
