HISD takeover: Rep. Reynolds, Sen. Bettencourt share their opposing views

The Texas Education Agency announced it will take control of Houston ISD in June. The TEA will replace HISD Superintendent Millard House II and the school board as part of the takeover. State Representative Ron Reynolds believed the move is politically and racially motivated while State Senator Paul Bettencourt is a vocal supporter of the takeover and says it has nothing to do with race or politics.
