Breezy day with highs in upper 80s

May the 4th be with all of us with the hottest weather of the year on the way for the next week or more. Expect a breezy day today with highs in the upper 80s, then another hot day tomorrow. An evening front on Thursday night could bring a brief round of strong thunderstorms, but only a brief cool-down. High temperatures are likely to climb into the mid-90s for Friday through Sunday which would put some record highs in jeopardy.
