Kids grow garden for sea turtles in Galveston
Galveston’s Own Farmer’s Market’s Young Gardener Program is now teaming up with the Gulf Center for Sea Turtle Research at Texas A&M Galveston. The students are providing much-needed vegetables to help rescued turtles regain their strength to return to the wild. The kids learn to give back, and the center gets healthy fresh vegetables for their patients.
