United Memorial Medical Center to lose Medicare, Medicaid contract

Federal inspectors say one of Houston’s hospital systems failed repeatedly to ensure the health and safety of its patients. And as a result, United Memorial Medical Center will lose its Medicare and Medicaid contract starting Dec. 11.
