Donations drop-off for Houston Area Women's Center post goes viral

Usually the one's helping, the Houston Area Women's Center found themselves in need of a hand. The power of social media stepped in!

Within hours of posting about the center's bare pantry shelves on Facebook, the post had been shared thousands of times and reached more than 120,000 people, and it didn't stop there.

The center started an "Amazon Wish List" that's allowing people to help without having to physically go by the center.
